We are currently seeking a remote, Sr. Backend Golang Developer to join our team headquartered in Longboat Key, Florida.
Job Title: Sr. Backend Golang Developer

Job Type: Full Time, Contract-to-hire
We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our team for minimum 1 month full-time, but with a good possibility of turning into fulltime.
You will be working with the development, deployment, monitoring and scaling of our backend system that enables a feature rich API for our application.

Job Responsibilities:
- Work with the existing DevOps team members to design and develop scalable, secure, and fast multi-cloud implementations with the ability to spawn and destroy Kubernetes instances on demand
- Setup and maintenance of GPU farms
- Provide support for feature engineering, feature stores, & ML model management
- Building and deploying state of the art security products using the latest CI/CD techniques which are and fully automated, repeatable and secure.
- Administration of Linux systems at scale using automation.
- Secure infrastructure using security best practices (TLS, certificate management, authentication and authorization etc.)
- Work with the existing DevOps team to design and develop a consistent deployment infrastructure for service mesh applications using technology such as Kubernetes, Jupyter Hub, docker, AWS and Terraform.
- Work with the existing DevOps team to design and implement a consistent logging, monitoring, and diagnostic systems
- Optimization of the current system architecture to improve speed, security, and scalability
- Architect solutions that will achieve company’s business, product and technology roadmap
- Document SOP’s for visibility and understanding from adjacent teams
Required Qualificatioins
- 3+ years of handson backend development experience with Go programming language and PostgreSQL.
- Strong problem solving and verbal and written communication skills
- Has a proactive attitude and can work well both collaboratively and independently
- Experience developing scalable backend services with high request loads
- QA Tests
- Can Deploying go apps on server / nginx / apache
- Working with OS apis from golang
- Advanced experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS
- Expertise in deploying applications to multiple cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Experience with AWS services such as VPC, ELB, IAM, KMS, EC2, Config, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, CloudFormation, Lambda.
- Knowledge of deployment technology such as GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Ansible.
- Experience with security best practices.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both written and verbal.
- Experience with Linux, shell scripting, and Python
- Hands-on experience building pipelines and deploying software or machine learning solutions using CI/CD, DevOps, or MLOps principles
Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing new features for our backend services and refining existing functionality
- Monitoring performance, capacity and security issues to ensure optimal performance for our backend services
- Developing and supporting our backend infrastructure including databases, servers and CI/CD pipelines
- Troubleshooting and resolving bugs and issues for our users
- Being proactive and identifying risks and vulnerabilities in our systems
- Working closely with frontend developers to align on functionality and ensure compatibility
